Macedonia Hotel - Kalamaki (Zakynthos)

The pool area was always well-maintained.

The room door lacked a lock on the inside, a concern for security, especially with small children around.

It has PLEASANT, very-very nice staff.

our room was clean and complete with a double bed, 1 bedroom, as for instance. the location was great, next door to old town. the breakfast was incredibly nice, we definitely want to stay in that area again.

The beautifully maintained gardens and the warm greetings from the owners each morning made our stay extra special. The staff were accommodating, ensuring our family's needs were met without hesitation.

Good-sized unit with large balcony. Excellent location to 7 greek islands, in the well-kept area. Nearby Black Pearl Bar - great place to chill out.

excellent access to parks and landmarks for city strolls

during my stay, I loved how centrally placed the hotel was, making it just a short walk to Caretta's Fun Park Centre, perfect for a leisurely day with family, as well as various local restaurants like Paolo where I could enjoy delicious meals after a full day of exploration.

The room was pretty basic but clean. The kitchenette had just 2 hobs and a fridge-so not ideal for cooking anything complex. The beds were comfy, though, probably the best part. Super close to the beach, and while plane noise could be a bit much, it wasn't unbearable. The shower was small and the pressure varied a lot, but overall it did the job. Definitely a mixed bag, but cozy enough for a family vibe.

The pool area was great, but the planes flew way too low above us.

Great place with its outdoor dining area, seasonal outdoor pool, and excellent restaurant. The staff even helped me with finding transport during my first stay. I highly recommend trying the poolside snack bar. I'm coming back for another trip!

Clean room, friendly staff, the restaurant had delicious food that was awesome and was conveniently located just a short walk from the beach for easy access.

We really enjoyed how kid-friendly the pool area was, and there were plenty of sunbeds, perfect for our family. The staff were polite and accommodating, everything was clean and organized with my partner.

My wife says that a more spacious bathroom would be great for families with children.

Just a solid selection for resting at all in Kalamaki with fantastic value for money. The pool was really nice, even if it got crowded sometimes. Arrive early to snag a sunbed!

The pool area, though small, is quite enjoyable, and there are plenty of sunbeds to soak up the sun. The overall cleanliness of the rooms is decent, and the layout is good for a self-catering stay.

The kitchenette is under-equipped, missing crucial items like a microwave or cooking utensils. You could hear the noise from the nearby bar clearly in the rooms. To top that, there's nearby airport noise from planes flying low, which shakes the building and rattles your nerves. Lastly, the bathroom is quite cramped.

The pool area was great, and the spacious balcony with pool view was a nice touch. Plus, we really enjoyed the karaoke night!
